Byggmax has today on July 22ndopened a store in Vantaa just north of Helsinki at the address Valimotie 18. Since Byggmax entered the Finnish market in 2008, the company has now a total of eight stores in Finland. The last four stores in Finland have been opened during the last six months.

- Our goal has for a long time been to open a store in the greater Helsinki area and Tammisto, the area in Vantaa where our new store is located, is a perfect location for us. Tammisto shopping area is newly built, large and well visited. The area includes several other home improvement and interior design stores. We are looking forward to compete with our competitors, says Magnus Agervald, CEO at Byggmax.

The Byggmax store area is in total 6,800 square meters large and it includes except the store itself also a large Drive In yard. The premises are owned by Sjælsö who has also built several other stores in the area.

- Our strategy in Finland is to open several new stores during the next coming years", says Magnus Agervald.

Byggmax already has stores in Pori, Porvoo, Lahti, Jyväskylä, Raisio, Turku and Vaasa.

Good quality at a low prices

Byggmax sell construction materials such as lumber, flooring, dry-wall, cement, windows, doors and paint to both professionals and DIY-customers. The Byggmax concept is to offer good quality products at low prices, the customer does part of the work which enables the company to reduce its costs.
